Here’s some important information to help make your first experience at Bethel a memorable one
First things First.....
At Bethel, we believe God has called His church to impact and affect the world in which we live. As a part of Christ’s body, Bethel has been commissioned to change lives with the kingdom message. We are called to reach beyond our four walls into our community, state and nation, to reach the world for Christ from Meigs County.
Our desire is to provide a safe, loving and dynamic environment where lives can be radically transformed. Where people can discover and use their gifts and talents to expand the Kingdom of God as we connect people to God.

What are your services like?
What can I expect when I attend a worship service?
At Bethel, we call ourselves a family and when you join us in fellowship, prayer and worship, you will soon discover why! We welcome you and want you to feel right at home. Typically, you can expect a worship service at Bethel to last approximately 2 hours. If you have children aged 1 – 12 years old, we suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes before our Sunday morning service to register your child(ren) for our engaging and fun KidZone children’s ministry. Our Cafe is available to all 30 minutes before each service. You are welcomed to purchase coffee and a refreshment and mingle with others in the congregation. Our service begins with a time of praise and worship led by our music ministry team. We believe that praise and worship connects our hearts to God. You will see song lyrics projected on a large screen and you are welcome to join in singing as the name of Jesus is lifted up through dynamic and expressive song. Generally, an opportunity for individualized prayer is offered and one of our pastors will share a down to earth, truthful message connecting everyone to a loving and just God, by the power of Jesus Christ.
What is the Atmosphere Like?
From the time you pull onto the parking lot and walk through our front door, we pray you will feel the love and presence of the Holy Spirit. We host a Spirit-filled, casual and loving environment. Come early and enjoy a cup of coffee from the Soul’ed Out Café located right inside the main entrance.
What does Bethel offer to parents with children?
At Bethel, we desire to create an environment where children look forward to coming to church! KidZone kicks off on *Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Life Room with light refreshments, Bible verse challenge and prayer. The children are then dismissed for classes until 11:30 a.m. At that time, they go to the Worship Cave for praise, worship and personal ministry. (*Second Sunday the kids stay in the sanctuary until after communion.)
Please stop by the KidZone station at the Welcome Center to sign your child in for classes before the worship service begins. After the service, please sign your child out from the worship cave which is located at the end of the right hallway.
Thrive Life Group is for students, ages 13 – 18. They meet in the Worship Cave at Bethel on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 for light refreshments, fellowship and Bible Study.
